Age restriction

Feather Light Healing LLC assumes no responsibility for liabilities related to age misrepresentation.

Intellectual property

You agree that all materials, products, and services provided on this website are the property of Feather Light Healing LLC, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, or licensors including all copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks, patents, and other intellectual property. You also agree that you will not reproduce or redistribute Feather Light Healing LLC’s intellectual property in any way, including electronic, digital, or new trademark registrations.

You grant Feather Light Healing LLC a royalty-free and non-exclusive license to display, use, copy, transmit, and broadcast the content you upload and publish. For issues regarding intellectual property claims, you should contact the company in order to come to an agreement.

User accounts

As a user of this website, you may be asked to register with us and provide private information. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of this information, and you are responsible for maintaining the safety and security of your identifying information. You are also responsible for all activities that occur under your account or password.

If you think there are any possible issues regarding the security of your account on the website, inform us immediately so we may address them accordingly.

We reserve all rights to terminate accounts, edit or remove content and cancel orders at our sole discretion. Bullying, abusive comments or behaviour, and any inappropriate behaviour can result in immediate termination of accounts, without a refund.

Applicable law

By using this website, you agree that the laws of the state of North Carolina in the United States of America, without regard to principles of conflict laws, will govern these terms and conditions, or any dispute of any sort that might come between Feather Light Healing LLC and you, or its business partners and associates.

Disputes

Any dispute related in any way to your use of this website or to products you purchase from us shall be arbitrated by state or federal court state of North Carolina and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Feather Light Healing LLC and its affiliates and hold Feather Light Healing LLC harmless against legal claims and demands that may arise from your use or misuse of our services. We reserve the right to select our own legal counsel.

Limitation on liability

Feather Light Healing LLC is not liable for any damages that may occur to you as a result of your misuse of our website.

Feather Light Healing LLC reserves the right to edit, modify, and change this Agreement at any time. We shall let our users know of these changes through electronic mail. This Agreement is an understanding between Feather Light Healing LLC and the user, and this supersedes and replaces all prior agreements regarding the use of this website.

This document outlines all of the disclosures, policies, terms and conditions, and such that are required by the state of Colorado, which must be signed, even for free sessions, circles, services, and/or classes.

This agreement will begin immediately upon acceptance, and will continue as long as the client procures the services of Feather Light Healing LLC. The agreement is between the Client and Feather Light Healing LLC, including its members, complementary health care practitioners, healers, coaches, trainers, and employees, whereby Feather Light Healing LLC agrees to provide complementary and alternative health care services. A copy of this agreement will be kept by Feather Light Healing LLC for two years after the last service date, and a written electronic copy will be provided to you, the client.

Services and Colorado Natural Health Care Consumer Protection Act Statements:

As defined by the Colorado Natural Health Care Consumer Protection Act §6-1-724, “complementary and alternative health care services” include services “within the broad domain of health care and healing arts therapies and methods that are based on complementary and alternative theories of health and wellness, including those that are traditional, cultural, religious, or integrative” and include “mind body and energetic healing practices.” A “ complementary and alternative health care practitioner” as defined by this act “means a person who provides complementary and alternative health care services in accordance with this section and who is not licensed, certified, or registered by the state as a health care professional.” For the rest of this agreement, the “complementary and alternative health care practitioner” will be referred to as “practitioner.” The services offered by Feather Light Healing LLC fall under the definition of “complementary and alternative health care services,” which include intuitive life coaching, Reiki, Shamanic energy work, energy clearing, and mind-body and energetic healing practices, and through the rest of this agreement will be referred to as “services.”

In accordance with the Colorado Natural Health Care Consumer Protection Act, the complementary and alternative health care practitioner is Amanda Campbell, and she can be reached at Feather Light Healing LLC, 1871 Morrow School Rd, Graham, NC 27253, emailed at amanda@featherlighthealing.com, or contacted by phone at (970) 485-5398. Services provided under this agreement are not licensed, certified, or registered by the state as a health care professional. These services may include intuitive healing journeys, coaching, Shamanic energy work or clearing, Reiki, coaching, and mind-body and energetic healing practices and classes. Techniques and practices may include but are not limited to coaching, limited belief clearing, past life clearing, energy clearing, energy healing, coaching, Shamanic journeying, soul retrieval, illumination, Reiki, women’s circles, fire ceremony, and general advice around the client’s area of concern. In addition, classes training students in some of these techniques, such as Reiki and Shamanic journeying will be offered. Amanda Campbell is an intuitive life coach (trained by the Universal Intelligence Intuition Wisdom Institute), a Reiki Master Teacher trained in both Usui and Sekhem-Seichim Reiki Modalities, a Kurak Akulleq Shaman (fourth level priest and wisdom-keeper) in the Andeon tradition as trained by Ginger and Dale Lee of Sacred Ways Colorado, and an ordained minister by the Universal Life Church. She is also a certified massage therapist (though massage therapy is regulated under separate statutes and does not fall under the complementary or alternative health care services included in this Agreement) receiving training from the Colorado School of Healing Arts in cranio-sacral therapy, reflexology, neuromuscular massage, and other various massage modalities. Additionally, Amanda has obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focused on elementary education and was a licenced elementary school teacher in the state of Colorado.

I, the client, understand that these services are not a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, medical care, medical diagnosis or treatment. These services are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any mental health or medical conditions. I understand that I, the client, should discuss any recommendations made by Feather Light Healing LLC or the practitioner with my primary care physician, (or obstetrician, gynecologist, oncologist, cardiologist, pediatrician or other board certified physician). The practitioner is covered by a liability insurance policy applicable to any injury caused by an act or omission of the provider in providing complementary and alternative health care services.

By signing this agreement, I, the client acknowledge that I have read, understand and agree to the above statements pursuant to the Colorado Natural Health Care Consumer Protection Act.

Additional Service Information and Client-Practitioner Relationship

I, the Client, acknowledge and agree that I am solely responsible for my own physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and financial well being and as such I am solely responsible for any decisions, choices, actions, and results. As such, the client agrees that Feather Light Healing LLC and the Practitioner are not and will not be held liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or any direct or indirect result of any services provided by Feather Light Healing LLC and Amanda Campbell.

The Client acknowledges that healing and the services provided are a comprehensive process that may involve many different areas of life including work, finances, health, relationships, business, education, spirituality, education and recreation. The client agrees that deciding how to handle these issues, incorporating messages/advice/healing services discussed during sessions are exclusively the client’s responsibility. The services provided are not to be construed as professional advice by legal, medical, business, or mental health professionals.

If the client is currently under the care of a mental health professional, it is recommended that the client promptly inform the mental health care provider of the nature and extent of the services agreed upon by the client and the complementary and alternative health practitioner.

The client understands that in order to enhance the healing process, the client agrees to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance, and to create the time and energy to participate fully in the sessions, program and classes they agree to participate in.

Scheduling and Procedure: The client may schedule online through the website www.featherlighthealing.com or. Alternatively, the practitioner may schedule sessions on behalf of the client and with the client’s agreement. Notice of the session will be transmitted via text message, email, Facebook messenger, or telephone call.

These services will primarily be sessions conducted via Zoom video conference calls, but if agreed upon between client and practitioner may also be conducted via Facebook messenger, Voxer, Telegram, FaceTime, Facebook video calling, Skype, telephone call, email, or text messaging. In addition, distance energy healing without the client present by call or conferencing may also occur. Session times will vary, as the individual healing journey of each client will be very different. Length, frequency number of sessions, and details of each session will be discussed between client and practitioner based on the practitioner's recommendation. This recommendation or plan is not binding, and may be altered and adjusted by mutual agreement, in accordance with the terms set out in this agreement.

The number and frequency of the sessions will be agreed upon during the first session or follow up call. Where no specific number is agreed upon, sessions will be provided on a session by session basis.

I, the Client, acknowledge that the Practitioner will do their best to inform me of session details such as length, frequency, outline and focus for each session, but that these times and details will vary.

I, the Client, understand that the Practitioner will be available to answer brief questions or concerns by email, Facebook messenger, text message or phone call, but more lengthy concerns or questions will need to be addressed in an additional session. The Practitioner will notify the client should an additional session need to be booked.

Cancellation and Rescheduling: Client agrees that it is the Client’s responsibility to notify the Practitioner at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule or cancel the scheduled sessions. Canceling or rescheduling appointments are best completed online via the Acuity booking software accessible through www.featherlighthealing.com or https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=22771792. Alternatively, the practitioner may be contacted through email, phone call, text message or Facebook messenger.

The Client understands that the Practitioner and Feather Light Healing LLC reserve the right to charge the Client for a missed session, or for a session not rescheduled or canceled at least 24 hours in advance.

If the Practitioner needs to cancel or reschedule, a minimum of 24 hours notice whenever possible will be given to the Client. Sessions canceled by Practitioner will be eligible for a refund in an amount equal to the fee for that session or sessions canceled.

Payment: Fees for each session will be agreed upon by Client and Practitioner prior to the first paid session. Payment for session packages may be made as a whole, or as a payment plan agreed upon by both the Client and Practitioner. These fees will be communicated in writing by email, typically as a receipt, invoice, or in the appointment notification. Cash and checks may be accepted for in-person services such as Reiki classes.

Fees may be paid online by debit or credit card using Stripe payment systems (invoice or payment link) or through Paypal via the website www.featherlighthealing.com. In addition payment may be arranged by contacting Practitioner to take a credit card payment over the phone. Fees are payable in advance of each session, unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties. If payment has not been received prior to session start time, Practitioner is not obliged to provide the session.

Payment for session packages may be made as a whole, or as a payment plan agreed upon by both the Client and Practitioner.

Confidentiality: The healing relationship, as well as all the information the client shares with the practitioner during one on one sessions, as part of this relationship, is bound by the principles of confidentiality. However, please be aware that the Client-Practitioner healing relationship is not considered a legally confidential relationship (like the medical or legal professions), and thus communications are not subject to the protection of any legally recognized privilege. The coach will not disclose the client’s name as a reference or testimonial without the client’s consent. According to the ethics of the profession, topics may be anonymously and hypothetically shared with other healing professionals for training, supervision, mentoring, evaluation, and for Practitioner professional development and/or consultation purposes.

The Client agrees that for group events and classes, they will only share information they are comfortable with other people knowing, and recognizes that during group events, the client is solely responsible for the information they share during group events or classes and cannot expect confidentiality from the other attendees.

Video Recording: Individual sessions may be recorded, and these recordings may occasionally be shared with Practitioner’s own coaches, teachers, healing professionals, and mentors for the intention of continuing Practitioner’s professional development, growth, training, supervision, mentoring, evaluation, and/or consultation purposes.

Online classes and group events may be recorded, and recordings may be shared with others and/or posted online for others to later access. I, the client, agree to be recorded and consent to the sharing of the recordings in this manner.

Privacy Policy and Website Terms of Service: Please note that the privacy policy and website terms of service are available on www.featherlighthealing.com. By choosing to use the website you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service.

Termination: Either the Client or the Practitioner may terminate this Agreement at any time with one week's written notice. Client agrees to compensate Practitioner for all services rendered through and including the effective date of termination of the agreement and healing services relationship.

Limited Liability: Except as expressly provided in this agreement, the Practitioner makes no guarantees, representations or warranties of any kind or nature, express or implied with respect to the services negotiated, agreed upon, and rendered. In no event shall the Practitioner be liable to the Client for any indirect, consequential or special damages. Notwithstanding any damages that the Client may incur, the Practitioner’s entire liability under this Agreement, and the Client’s exclusive remedy, shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the Client to the Practitioner under this Agreement for all coaching services rendered through and including the termination date.

Entire Agreement: This document reflects the entire agreement between the Practitioner and the Client, and reflects a complete understanding of the parties with respect to the subject matter. This Agreement supersedes all prior written and oral representations. The Agreement may not be amended, altered, or supplemented except in writing, and signed by both the Practitioner and Client.

Dispute Resolutions: If a dispute arises out of this Agreement that cannot be resolved by mutual consent, the Client and Practitioner agree to attempt to mediate in good faith for up to 30 days after the notice is given. If the dispute is not resolved, and in the event of legal action, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover attorney’s fees and court costs from the other party.

Severability: If any provision of this Agreement shall be held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable. If the Court finds that any provision of this Agreement is invalid or unenforceable, but that by limiting such provision it would become valid and enforceable, then such provision shall be deemed to be written, construed, and enforced as so limited.

Waiver: The failure of either party to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver or limitation of that party’s right to subsequently enforce and compel strict compliance with every provision of this Agreement.

Applicable Law: This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without giving effect to any conflict of laws provisions.

Binding Effect: This Agreement shall be binding upon the parties hereto and their respective successors and permissible assigns.

By signing this agreement, I, the client acknowledge that I have read, understand and agree to the above statements pursuant to the Colorado Natural Health Care Consumer Protection Act, and the policies and procedures set forth in this agreement. I, the Client, acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my own physical, mental, emotional well being and that any decisions, choices, actions, and results arising out of or resulting from the services provided by Feather Light Healing LLC and Practitioner are my own. As such, the client agrees that Feather Light Healing LLC and the Practitioner are not and will not be held liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or any direct or indirect result of any services provided by Feather Light Healing LLC and Amanda Campbell.
